Schwarzes Licht in Saint-Etienne France. French Premiere

SCHWARZES LICHT 8-channel audio live performance is presented in Saint-Etienne (France) in an amazing night involving music by Roberto Paci Dalò, Pierre-Yves Macé, Jean-François Estager, Vincent Carinola, P.A. Jaffrennou, Jean-François Minjard, Annette Van De Gorne, Marije Baalman, James Giroudon.

Schwrzes Licht is based on audio materials from German and Russian radios: news and documents from the last days of the national-socialist era. Voices, noises, dramatical silences, announcements from the Wehrmacht headquartier, the announcement of Hitler's death and the Capitulation. The piece has been premiered on April 1, 2006 at the Deutsches-Russiches Museum Berlin-Karlshorst where the Capitulation has been signed on May 8th, 1945.Co-production Giardini Pensili, Internationale Heiner Müller Gesellschaft.
